In recent years, two factors have contributed to change the way I live this passion:
1. An increasing desire to be in contact with Nature, which moved me from a town apartment to a small house in the hills of the Appennino Ligure;
2. Evident needs to change the habitual mental context and (sometime) substitute “reasoning” with “feeling”.
The old passion for the macro-photography became a tool for an expressive research with the aim of discovering and put in evidence Beauty in humble, common and simple contexts. The field behind home, and the wood just a little further away, started to be the perfect place for this new (and freeing) activity.
More recently, I had the opportunity to attend some (splendid) workshops of Nature Photography and this triggered inside me the passion for landscape imagines and for whole animal world ones.
My cultural background prepared me well for the “digital revolution”, where I was able to “recycle” my informatics knowledge, avoiding the difficults that even a seasoned classical photographer had to face.
The different operative modalities, the possibility to autonomously follow an image from the shoot to the print, the continuous evolution of new and marvelous tools and their consequent expressive possibility, led me to … what you can see visiting this site.
